Our client are a well established and really innovative company who design products for the dental industry. They design a variety of products from the equipment used within dental practices to dental aesthetics. Their customer base ranges from NHS, private dental practices and corporate organisations. They have recently developed a training academy to support the Armed Forces to transition into niche dental engineering roles and are expanding their business into Scotland. As a result, they are recruiting for a Data Analyst to support them retain their efficiencies as they grow.
About the role
The Data analyst will help to transform the way our client uses data to drive decision making. The Data Analyst is responsible for developing, managing and maintaining the recently developed CRM system. The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in maximising operational efficiencies, and in providing accurate and insightful data. Integral to the role is understanding existing business processes and evolving the processes with appropriate stakeholders. This role will also include training and mentoring of colleagues relating to data management and CRM use.
The data analyst will work with project managers, technical experts and business users across all our client's business to implement change. Working with the CRM, you will proactively identify areas for improvement in data management. You will also be responsible for data hygiene and be the overall subject matter expert in data management.
The data analyst will:

Provide monthly management information packs to our client's customers

Develop and run internal metrics and KPI’s on each function of our client's departments: Scheduling, Invoicing, Parts, Technical and Telesales.

Analyse fault trends of equipment sets with the Head of Department to improve efficiency of service delivery.

Provide engineer utilisation reporting of our field service engineers

Develop and report first time fix rates, job acceptance rates vs pre-defined service level agreements within a list of managed service contracts.

Provide reporting on telephone call volumes
About you
Our client are looking for someone who loves crunching data and identifying actionable insights. You should enjoy working with data in spreadsheets and have experience of using databases to manage and extract data.
