Our award winning client is recruiting for a junior cyber security analyst to join their fast growing team. Our client are a managed security services provider (MSSP). They have enjoyed exceptional growth during the last 18 months. Their client base spans the globe, from the UK to the Middle East, Australia and North America. Our client works across many sectors such as oil and gas, finance, legal, charity and public sector. They are keen supporters of the Armed Forces community and have supported training programmes for Veteran employment in Scotland.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The junior cyber security analyst is responsible for the monitoring of security incidents, classifying incidents and providing advice on mitigation or remedial actions to clients.
Additional daily tasks include:
- providing threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advice
- monitor news services for relevant threat & vulnerability information that may impact clients
- join in compliance/vulnerability scanning and develop mitigation and follow up plans from the assessment findings
- investigate, document and report on information security issues and emerging trends
- Participate in incident response activity, taking active actions to help contain threats
- Collaborate on product and process improvement including the creation/improvement of analytics, knowledge sharing amongst the team
This is a shift based role as their operation is 24/7. Typically, you will work one of three shifts in a 3 shifts on, 4 shifts off pattern.
ABOUT YOU

- Cyber security related qualifications (e.g degree, CompTIA Sy, CISM, CISSP)
