Our Client an is a bio-technology solutions provider specialising in the recycling of end of life tyres through the process of Tyre Shredding, and Separation, producing rubber crumb. They are growing fast and expanding are now in need of an experienced and multi-skilled office/administration manager to support this growth. Our client have recruited a number of ex-military into their team over the past few years. So you would be joining a Forces-friendly team at a really exciting period of growth.
About the role:
The successful candidate will be part of the organisational leadership team and a critical support to the MD. As a result, you will be a critical component in promoting a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale. You will also work with senior stakeholders and determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals. This will include the building of alliances and partnerships with other organisations.
You will will be heavily involved in operational activities. Examples include:

Help and enforce policy, planning, and daily running of the operational side.

Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.

Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.

Help with budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.

Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

Support worker communication with the management team.

Work and improve and promote health and safety polices within the company.
About you:
Successful candidates should have extensive experience in Admin/Office Management and have experience in a management or leadership position. A deep understanding of financial management is also needed such as budgeting, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management. Working knowledge of SAGE/Xero accounting software advantageous. Previous exposure to HSE management would be desirable.
You should be an excellent communicator and relationship builder. Our client is looking for someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment and who is capable of adapting quickly to changing priorities. This is a critical role for our client, that in particular will allow the MD to focus on the continued growth of the business and the development into new markets. But this is only achievable with someone who can successfully support them in the office.
