About the role
The main purpose of this role is to drive sales performance through the effective delivery of sales forecasting, process improvement, planning, reporting, analytics, and sales technology. The role is focused on sales support and internal business intelligence through market insight, CRM management and change and process improvement. Typical duties will include:
- Manage the company CRM system and use it to support sales strategy and ultimately enhance sales performance and productivity
- Continuously look for ways to improve, automate and simplify sales processes and increase sales productivity
- Using Excel or Power BI, produce insightful reports to inform sales team members and management about historical results, current performance, KPIs and forecast revenue and gross margin for future periods
- Manage the end-to-end pipeline process constantly developing and evolving this with the business
- Responsible for ensuring that sales data collected and stored within the CRM system is accurate, secure and compliant
- Organise and deliver training to sales and finance teams on sales process and usage of the CRM system
- Actively contribute to the internal infrastructure team which governs changes, upgrades or any issues relating to the CRM or resource planning systems
- Partner with the Marketing team to support ROI reporting and inform data driven decision making
- Develop monthly and quarterly reporting packs for internal and board use
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the CRM data
- Develop and keep up to date dashboards for the key stakeholders in the delivery process
About you
Our client are looking for someone who is a real wizz at using analytics in the planning, forecasting and budgeting process to create value. You should be an expert at analysing and visualing data using Excel or Power BI for others to understand and in identifying areas to improve and implementing those improvements. You should be able to see the bigger picture from what you are doing and be comfortable working in an information systems/IT environment.
Our client want someone who is familiar with managing sales automation and CRM systems. Previous process improvement experience is highly desirable, particularly if this is within a sales function.
