Our award winning client is recruiting for a Technical Resource Planner to join their fast growing team. About the role
The Technical Resource Planner will sit between the sales team and the client onboarding team to ensure that our client has the correctly qualified and available people resources to supply the solutions that their customers need. You will need to understand the sales pipeline to effectively plan against capacity and understand priority changes. You will then review the capacity requirements of the different teams from delivery to live service to ensure the pipeline of new customers is manageable. Additionally, you will co-ordinate the analytics and connectors team to successfully schedule work to enable onboardings to be carried out in agreed timescales. You will be involved in supporting process improvement and streamlining.
You will work with the onboarding team leader to manage different phases of onboarding to ensure work is delivered within the agreed timescales with customers. You will also work closely with PMO to feedback any changes to timescales, blockers, or extra requirements and will report to the Head of Engineering to demonstrate how onboardings are performing against plans.
The success measures for this role will include minimal friction between sales and delivery pipelines as well as in delivery between onboarding, connectors, and analytic teams. Customers are consistently onboarded on time and to scope. You're fully aware of where each customer onboarding is in the process and you can effectively manage changing priorities. Additionally, that the onboarding team have enough capacity for emergency work and training.
About you
Our client are looking for someone with existing IT technical expertise, with hands on experience working in IT. It would be helpful if you had knowledge of cyber and IT security but that isn't essential. However, you must be incredibly organised. You must also be very customer focused and can think clearly under pressure. Quickly changing priorities should not phase you. Our client want someone who is curious and innovative and happy to bring new ideas to the table.
This role would be really suited to someone who has a communications operations/planning background especially.
